In a school extremely rich in Erasmus+ experience, Erasmus+ days and e-Twinning week were celebrated and marked for the second year in a row. On that occasion, a number of activities were organized at the level of individual projects, at the school level and at the national level.

For the first time, our school organized a national-level virtual conference called "Erasmus+ Opportunities and Challenges" where representatives of about fifteen schools across Croatia, from Slavonia through central Croatia to the Imotski Krajina and Dubrovnik, presented their experiences, examples of good practice, activities and results of participation in Erasmus+ projects.

At the school level, a joint celebration of the Erasmus+ day was organized in the school yard. On this occasion, an appropriate exhibition of art works was prepared, traditional and contemporary dances were presented, students spread the spirit of friendship, joy and togetherness through song and dance.

At the level of individual projects, a series of virtual meetings were held for students from partner schools, in which students of the 8th c and 7th grades participated and thus got to know the educational systems of other countries, the daily life of teenagers in Europe better. The students of the 4th c and 3rd grade presented friendship, togetherness, freedom and peace with their art works.

The e-Twinning week was marked by the launch of a new project called SMARTIES. SMARTIES is an international school partnership with the goal of developing the digital skills of teachers and students, developing media literacy, education in the field of smart technologies (smart home, smart school, smart city), popularizing the STEAM field, with the primary goal: developing a safe online environment for learning and teaching, support for students and teachers in distance learning and teaching.

The celebration of the Erasmus+ day at the 1st elementary school Čakovec was enhanced by another event where student Ivan Koštarić played the "Ode to Joy" on the trumpet. Students participated in old sports games such as chigosh, walking on stilts, jumping in a sack, walking with bound legs. The 7th graders Korana Drakulić, Gita Nikolić, Kaja Baksa and Nela Levačić were interviewed by a teacher from Turkey and they shared with her their experiences so far, as well as their wishes regarding Erasmus + projects. Pupils of 2nd a, 3rd a, 3rd b, 3rd c and 4th grades of PŠ NSR also made fruit salad, learned words in foreign languages, made and presented slogans about the Erasmus project and the Corona virus, sang songs and made flags with characteristics of European countries.
