"ARTIE: Artificial intelligence in education - challenges and opportunities of the new era: development of a new curriculum, a manual for teachers and an online course for students" is a two-year strategic partnership co-financed by the European Commission from the Erasmus+ program, and is made up of three schools and two organizations closely related to education and professional training: 1st elementary school Čakovec (Croatia), I Spoleczna Szkola Podstawowa im. Unii Europejskiej w Zamosciu (Poland), Agrupamento de Escolas do Barreiro (Portugal), Croatian Federation of Robotics (Croatia) and Nefinia (Netherlands). The carrier is the 1st elementary school Čakovec, and the international strategic partnership is managed and led by Ivana Ružić, coordinator, and Siniša Stričak, director.
On Wednesday, December 9, the first working online meeting was held, where the partners solemnly marked the beginning of work by mutual introduction and agreement on the method, dynamics of work, creation of intellectual results, testing, evaluation, reporting and dissemination. The importance of the topic and the expected achievements of this partnership is amply demonstrated by the fact that already in November 2020, even before the formal start, ARTIE was presented at the international Carnet User Conference 2020, and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs in Zagreb rated it as this year's best project proposal in Croatia in the Erasmus+ KA201 proposal category.
